Deliver advanced tax and comprehensive financial planning for high-net-worth clients. Partner with advisors and specialists to design proactive strategies that integrate tax, cash‑flow, investment, and estate considerations. Lead technical planning, educate stakeholders, and support client retention and growth in a dynamic, high‑visibility environment.
What To Expect- Tax Strategy & Planning:
Evaluate client tax positions and design integrated strategies for business owners, executives, and multi‑generational families. Translate tax law changes into clear, actionable recommendations. Monitor deadlines and support extensions, estimates, and payments as applicable. - Financial Planning & Analysis:
Prepare and present comprehensive planning reports and recommendations in a client‑ready format. Model cash‑flow, retirement, equity compensation, and estate scenarios to align strategies with client goals. Identify opportunities to optimize after‑tax outcomes. - Client Consultation &
Education:
Lead and support planning discussions with clients and advisors. Explain technical concepts in plain language and outline implementation steps, decision points, risks, and trade‑offs. Foster confidence and a high‑quality, personalized client experience. - Research & Technical Guidance:
Conduct targeted research on evolving tax rules and planning topics. Summarize findings for advisors and leadership, including practical implications and recommended next actions. Maintain current knowledge of federal and state developments impacting client plans. - Collaboration & Coordination:
Partner with advisors, managers, and specialists to ensure cohesive, end‑to‑end planning strategies. Coordinate information gathering, deliverables, and follow‑ups to keep engagements on track. Support cross‑functional initiatives that enhance planning quality and scale. - Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant client records. Observe internal controls and data‑handling standards. Uphold professional and ethical guidelines in all planning activities. - Business Development Support:
Contribute to client retention and growth through consultative conversations, planning insights, and identification of new engagement opportunities. Assist with proposal content and planning‑led differentiators. - Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of tax planning experience within wealth management, a family office, or public accounting.
- Minimum of one year of financial planning experience (preferred).
- Active Series 65 certification.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification (preferred).
- Demonstrated success advising high‑net‑worth clients on complex tax matters.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to contribute to business development through consultative planning insights.
This position is hybrid, expecting in‑office presence 3–4 times a month.

Compensation & Benefits- Starting annual base salary between $76,100 – $105,550.
- Variable compensation potential (bonus and/or commissions).
