Position

Qualifications:

· Skills to:
Perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
· Knowledge of:
Current practices in the aligned industry sector, including industry-standard tools and equipment, and general philosophy of ROP and instructional methodology.
· Ability to:
Organize and deliver content knowledge designed for high school students, create an environment conducive for student learning, work effectively as a member of an educational team, and communicate effectively both written and orally.

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma
· Must hold or be eligible for the Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) in the Transportation industry sector. To obtain a new CTE credential, applicants must have a minimum of 3,000 hours (or three years) experience in Automotive Repair or related industries.
· MCOE will support the selected candidate(s) in obtaining the required teaching credential(s). Desired

Qualifications:

· Experience working with youth as a teacher, coach, trainer, mentor, counselor, or facilitator
· Bilingual English/Spanish
