Overview
Youth Soccer Coach & Development Coordinator - Year Round. Part-time opportunity offering competitive pay, community impact, and personal fulfillment. Based in Petaluma, Novato and San Rafael; suitable for students, parents or residents seeking a consistent weekly schedule.
Responsibilities- Assist as an Assistant Coach with an expedited path to Lead Coach once required training and onboarding hours have been fulfilled.
- Deliver classes using the customized, age-appropriate enrichment curriculum focused on developing the whole child.
- Provide individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Maintain a non-competitive, fun, and stress-free environment.
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to improve and celebrate success.
- Attend regular trainings and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual to continually improve.
Compensation: $25 per hour initially as an Assistant Coach, increasing to $30 per hour once transitioning to Lead Coach.
- Minimum 20-25 hours per week.
- Required weekly availability:
Monday-Thursday 1-5pm, Saturday AM. - Optional weekly availability for additional hours:
Monday-Friday 9-11am, Sunday AM.
Classes held at local schools, parks, and recreational centers in Novato, San Rafael and Petaluma. Travel up to 15 miles each way may be required.
Qualifications- Prior experience working with or teaching children.
- Extremely reliable with a positive, engaging energy.
