We Are Currently Recruiting For: Multi-Purpose Clerk – Dairy (Food Maxx)

Job Overview: The Multi-Purpose Clerk may be assigned to several departments, including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial. Responsibilities include promoting sales, addressing customer inquiries, handling orders, maintaining safety and clean work areas, inspecting and logging products, stocking, rotating, merchandising, and performing routine equipment and facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Center Store/Front End – Operate check‑stand, memorize PLU codes, manage inventory, merchandise, and perform POS and inventory activities.
• Produce – Receive, inspect, and log shipments, trim, wash, and wrap produce, maintain floral area, and keep all equipment clean.
• Meat/Seafood – Receive, inspect, and log shipments, weigh, wrap/package, and label products, provide customer service at the seafood counter, take special orders, operate slicers and wrappers, and maintain cleanliness.
• Bakery/Deli – Receive, inspect, and log shipments, prepare, weigh, package, and label products, take special orders, operate ovens, proofers, slicers, and mixers, and maintain cleanliness.
• Janitorial – Sweep and mop sales floor and refrigerated areas, clean restrooms and office areas, handle front‑of‑store and parking lot cleaning, and operate janitorial equipment as needed.

Duties Included in All Departments:

• Sweep and mop sales floor, front end, back rooms, and refrigerated areas.
• Operate forklift if authorized and certified.
• Operate baler if authorized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hiring Pay Range: $16.75 - $26.00 per hour

Requirements (Knowledge,

):

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.

Education: High School Diploma or GED, or relevant job experience.

Experience: Six months of related experience.

Other: Must be available to work a variety of retail hours.

Physical Requirements: Requires standing, moving frequently, and lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
