About the OpportunityMendaera is looking for an Engineering Technician to help build hardware toenable robotic medical interventions based on real-time multimodal imaging and sensor information.
You will work with Mendaera's engineering team to build prototypes and test fixtures, process components, and run tests. You will be responsible for constructing, calibrating, and testing prototypes. The annual salary range for this role is $77,000 - $112,000.

- Assemble detailed mechanical and electrical prototypes
- Conduct debugging and basic troubleshooting of prototypes
Conduct testing and documentation of test results - Perform calibration steps on prototypes
- Process 3D Printed components
- Solder components into prototypes
- High school diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years of industry experience
- Hands-on technician with the proven ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to accurately assemble small components
- Proficiency with computers; comfort with limited command line operations preferred
- Experience with soldering small components
- Previous experience in the medical device space is a plus
