As a Senior Software Engineer on User Safety, you will be responsible for designing and building large-scale systems for abuse reporting, a critical part of keeping Roblox safe. You will work on services with substantial scaling needs in the path of many critical user journeys, and you will feel a true sense of ownership and responsibility in thoughtfully and fairly protecting our users, while carefully fræð balancing freedom and civility.

• Build large-scale services for intaking, enriching, routing, and decisioning abuse reports.
• Work closely with UX design, research, data science, and product managers to substantially improve the efficacy, scale, and trustworthiness of abuse reporting.
• Help evolve our moderation infrastructure to meet new safety and compliance requirements.
• Leverage ML to tackle difficult problems at scale.
• Work with a tightly-knit, high-performing, diverse, and energetic cross-functional product engineering team with a strong sense of camaraderie.

• 5+ years of experience with scalable infrastructure and distributed systems
• 5+ years of experience in Golang/C++/C#/Java/etc.
• Experience with modern microservice architecture.
• Capability and willingness in being predominantly a product engineer but occasionally serve a platform role with internal partners.
• Interest with Safety systems.
• A growth mindset.
• Experience with the Trust & Safety domain (preferred)
• Experience with AI/ML at scale (preferred)
