Wages: $34.00 - $37.00 / hr
What you'll be doing: Performing maintenance, repairs and minor improvements to the community’s building(s) and equipment in an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture.
Work Schedule8:00am-4:30pm Thursdays and Friday off, Monday-Wednesday and Saturday-Sunday

- Perform a wide range of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing (unclogging sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs; repairing or replacing toilets and faucets), electrical (repairing or replacing switches, plugs, and smoke detectors), carpentry (repairing or replacing wood trim and cabinets), painting (interior and exterior), drywall repair, and diagnosing, repairing, and replacing in‑unit appliances and building systems.
- Actively participate in departmental training to strengthen skills and embrace the purpose of creating inviting resident experiences that feel personal and meaningful.
- Approach all interactions with residents, guests, and co‑workers in a gracious, attentive, and courteous manner, ensuring a welcoming community environment.
- Carry out daily preventative maintenance tasks such as drywall and wood repair, light painting, cleaning, organizing, and performing minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs to keep facilities in excellent condition.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in carpentry, general building repair, or a related field.
- Certified pool operators (CPO) license or certification preferred.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or w/in 90 days of hire.
- Ability to use ladders and basic hand tools.
- Skills in the operation, repair, and maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and understand labels.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
