Job TitleResearch Data Scientist - Oncology
Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a motivated bioinformatics contractor to join our research data science team. The candidate will support oncology research projects. Main responsibilities include:
- Advanced degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, computer science, or related fields.
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of cancer biology and immunology.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
- Strong programming skills in R, Perl, or Python.
- Experience with open-source bioinformatics tools and large omics datasets (e.g., TCGA, GTEx, CCLE, Dep Map).
- Ability to work semi-independently, with effective communication skills, proactive attitude, and strong work ethic.
