We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and organized Nutrition Specialist who is passionate about treating obesity as a disease to improve the myriad chronic health conditions associated with weight- including hypertension, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea and more- to join our team. In this role, you will see patients via tele-health and work with a multidisciplinary team including Registered Dietitians and medical providers to provide best-in-class care and outcomes for your patients - communicating with them both synchronously and asynchronously.
Minimum Qualifications
- We are looking for those with:
- a 4 year Nutrition and Dietetics degree, with at least 1 year experience coaching lifestyle and habit changes using nutrition and exercise. The Nutrition Specialist will work closely under a lead RD to provide evidence-based obesity science and nutrition advice
We are looking for dietitians with:
- Bachelor's degree in Food &/or Nutritional Science
- Minimum 12 months of experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian, working with patients with Diabetes or other metabolic diseases a plus
- Current registration w/ the Commission on Dietetic Registry (CDR) in good standing
- Knowledge of clinical competencies based on Nutrition Care Standards of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
