Overview

Location:

San Mateo, CA. Full-time. Hybrid (Tues–Thurs in studio, Mon/Fri optional WFH).

Bould Design is growing. We’re looking for an exceptional industrial designer to join our award-winning studio. You’ll work closely with a small, experienced team and contribute to every phase of the design process—from early concept development through production.

We offer a focused, collaborative work environment for designers who are self-directed, detail-oriented, and passionate about their craft. Our projects span the leading edge of design, technology, and manufacturing—from nimble startups to category-defining global brands.

What we’re looking for

You might be a good fit if you have a strong combination of the following:

  • 2–5+ years of professional industrial design experience
  • Strong conceptual and form development skills
  • Refined aesthetic sensitivity and design judgment
  • Excellent sketching, visualization, and storytelling ability
  • Proficiency in Solid Works, Keyshot and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Interest in seeing designs through to production
  • Thoughtful attention to user experience and usability
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Collaborative, analytical, and self-motivated mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Industrial Design or related field
  • Authorization to work in the United States
Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation: $70,000–$100,000, depending on experience
