As part of the Sales Strategy and Operations Strategic Planning team, you'll be at the core of driving the insights and strategy that fuel our Sales team's success. This role is an ideal launchpad for anyone eager to learn how a fast‑scaling business operates.
As a key contributor, you'll engage in a variety of high‑impact projects – taking ideas from concept to implementation – while collaborating cross‑functionally with teams across sales, finance, product, and operations to ensure smooth and scalable growth.
What You'll Do- Strategy & Planning:
Conduct ongoing and ad hoc strategic analysis to set plans and targets, blending operations and strategy to drive key business decisions. - Modeling & forecasting:
Build and manage headcount models, sales forecasts, quota projections, and resource plans to support strategic decision‑making. - Stakeholder management:
Lead daily communications with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment across the organization. - Analytics:
Dive into quota performance and sales data to deliver actionable insights that enhance sales efficiency and planning processes. - While we tackle daily challenges head‑on, we're also laying the groundwork for long‑term success. Expect to roll up your sleeves, dive deep into complex data, and take ownership of processes that drive tangible impact.
- You’ll work across spreadsheets and engage closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot, analyze, and help build the future of Verkada.
- 6+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, corporate strategy, or a startup, with a strong academic background from a leading university.

You have a proven track record in complex forecasting and financial analysis. (Excel proficiency required; SQL / Tableau / Looker a plus). - Strong analytical skills:
You excel at structuring analyses to answer business questions and have ideas on how to build effective data architecture. - Process‑oriented thinking:
You can independently solve problems, document solutions, and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences. Salesforce experience is a plus. - Excellent cross‑functional communication:
You can work with everyone from sales reps to engineers to optimize processes and workflows. Strong written and verbal communication is essential. - Adaptability and drive:
You manage change well, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and can handle shifting priorities with ease. - Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
