Automotive Technician – Stress-Free Auto Care
Location: San Mateo, CA
Job Summary: Stress-Free Auto Care is redefining the auto repair experience by delivering exceptional service with honesty, transparency, and convenience. We are seeking experienced automotive technicians to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems, collaborate with a skilled, supportive team, and interact with customers to deliver transparent, high‑quality service.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
- Collaborate with a skilled, supportive team to deliver high‑quality service.
- Interact with customers to provide transparent, high‑quality automotive care.
- Work in a shop built around respect, communication, and continuous improvement.
- 2–7 years of automotive technician experience (A‑Level 7–10+ years pay $70/hr, B‑Level 2–7 years pay $45/hr, C‑Level 6 months–2 years pay $32/hr).
- Strong diagnostic skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality, transparent auto care.
- Ability to lift and/or move over 50 pounds and work with tools on vehicles lifted above head.
- Efficient use of hand‑tools and computer navigation.
- Work in tight spaces and maintain a brisk work pace in a high‑volume environment.
- Competitive hourly pay up to $70/hr based on years of experience.
- Performance bonus up to $10 per billable hour.
