Staff Accountant

Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking to support an excellent organization with accounting related duties for at least 6-months? Do you experience with Quick Books Online or  We are looking for an accounting professional to support a great team for a role in San Mateo, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with accounts payable, month-end close, and reconciliations.

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Prepare and post journal entries such as accruals, prepaids, and reclasses.
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Assist with audits, reporting requests, and ad hoc accounting projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on Accounts Payable.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (Quick Books and ).
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
