Woods Comfort Systems in San Marcos has an immediate opening for a Plumber Apprentice to join our growing team providing residential and commercial plumbing services. If you are looking for a company where you can build a career we'd like to hear from you!

Job Summary: The Plumber Apprentice will effectively and efficiently perform minor to moderately complex service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments under the direct supervision of a Journeyman or Master Plumber.

Pay: $15/hr.

- $18/hr. (based on experience)

Qualifications:

• Current valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Strong desire to grow your career to a Journeyman Plumber
• Ability to use tools of trade including but not limited to: plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels and screwdrivers.
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
• Excellent math skills
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle the physical workload and perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to follow instructions given by the Journeyman or Master Plumber

Desired Qualifications:

• Trade school certificate
• 1 to 3 years' experience in plumbing, maintenance or related field preferred
