ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for full‑time RN’s to work weekdays with our adolescent population. Weekday shifts: two days (16 hours each, 6 AM–10 PM) and one day of 8 hours. The RN is under the Director of Nursing and provides physical assessments, implements treatment plans, evaluates response to treatment, documents care, administers medications, educates patients and families. The RN supervises the Mental Health Techs and LVN staff, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.
Provide direct patient care and management of children, adolescents, and young adult patients as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Ensure safety, supervision, crisis management, assessment and medical management, and assist in therapeutic milieu management.

Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school. One year psychiatric/neuropsychiatric experience with adolescents or young adults in long‑term hospital or residential setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current Texas professional nurse license and driver's license.
Skills: Good verbal and written communication; maintain confidentiality; effective organization; implement patient care services; mental ability to perform essential functions; initiate and implement all phases of nursing process; provide safe care; understand patient rights; basic supervisory skills.
