This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), located in San Marcos, TX. The responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse include providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient health and vital signs, documenting accurate patient records, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The LPN will also support addiction recovery efforts by educating patients and families about treatments, offering compassionate support, and assisting in crisis intervention when necessary.
Adherence to safety, confidentiality, and compliance standards is essential in this role.
- Experience in patient care, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals and compassionate patient support.
- Documentation and organizational skills to maintain accurate medical records and detailed patient care plans.
- Knowledge of addiction recovery, mental health care, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Texas.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Commitment to ethical and confidential care in a medical setting.
- Prior experience in addiction or mental health treatment is preferred but not required.
