Job Description

Perform daily store and delivery operations for a pizza restaurant, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Operate all kitchen equipment and prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Deliver product by car and to customers’ doors, delivering flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Pass a background check and maintain open availability.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Verbal and telephone communication skills to process orders.
• Ability to train, lead, and work in a team environment.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and handle monetary change accurately.
• Proficient in entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Maintain cost controls and adhere to quality standards.

Orientation and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

• Accurate numerical calculations and making correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Good motor coordination and hand‑eye coordination for rapid and precise movements.
• Ability to navigate using maps and locate addresses within the delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, carry, push, climb stairs, and perform other occupational tasks.

• Exposure to variable weather conditions during outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to above 90°F.
• Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped and hot work areas, including walk‑in coolers and hot surfaces up to 500°F.
• Sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and potential for repetitive stress.
• Tasks performed while standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing.
