About the Role
Telepath LLC is looking for a skilled Fiber Splicing Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in enterprise and FTTH projects. You’ll join a precision-driven team delivering quality splicing services across San Diego County.
Key Responsibilities
- Fusion splice single (ribbon and loose tube)
- Complete cutsheets and as-builts accurately
- Use OTDRs, power meters, and splicing tools (e.g., Fujikura 70S+)
- Troubleshoot fiber issues in field environments
- Work on aerial, underground, and MDU installations
- Submit clean daily reports and field logs
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency work
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of verifiable fiber splicing experience
- Familiarity with bucket truck and pole/lift safety
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Able to work independently and with a crew
- Starting at $25/hr and up depending on experience
- Company tools and vehicle for lead techs
- Overtime + weekend availability
- Long-term growth path to team lead/project manager
- Supportive and respectful crew environment
