About the Role

Telepath LLC is looking for a skilled Fiber Splicing Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in enterprise and FTTH projects. You’ll join a precision-driven team delivering quality splicing services across San Diego County.

Key Responsibilities

• Fusion splice single (ribbon and loose tube)
• Complete cutsheets and as-builts accurately
• Use OTDRs, power meters, and splicing tools (e.g., Fujikura 70S+)
• Troubleshoot fiber issues in field environments
• Work on aerial, underground, and MDU installations
• Submit clean daily reports and field logs
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency work

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of verifiable fiber splicing experience
• Familiarity with bucket truck and pole/lift safety
• Strong work ethic and communication skills
• Able to work independently and with a crew
• Starting at $25/hr and up depending on experience
• Company tools and vehicle for lead techs
• Overtime + weekend availability
• Long-term growth path to team lead/project manager
• Supportive and respectful crew environment
