This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. * Position Summary:

Chemical Hygienist
** We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Hygiene Intern to assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Chemical Hygiene Program. This internship offers hands-on experience in laboratory safety, chemical handling protocols, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, committed to safety, and capable of supporting the safety team in promoting a safe work environment.
** Pay Rate:** $20/hr

* Key Responsibilities:

**
* * Review chemical inventory and provide analysis of incompatibilities.*
* * Research and provide options on chemical inventory management systems*
* * Research & compare hazardous waste profiles with federal/state/local regulations with a focus on combining & streamlining.
*** Program Requirements**:
* Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship
* Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
* Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program
