Packaged Gases Customer Service Representative - San Marcos, CA

Position Summary:
Manages sales campaigns with the intent of either scheduling appointments for sales to improve sales productivity or gaining business via direct quotes/follow-up. Assesses customer satisfaction with MTG products and services through surveys and provides insights for addressing customer concerns. Works closely with SBU Sales Leaders, Sales, Corporate Marketing, and Customer Service.

Position Accountabilities:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and/or prior experience in outbound calling, inside sales, outside sales, or marketing is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for explaining information to customers and employees.
• Basic math skills for handling measurements and transactions.
• Ability to learn MTG’s business, products, organization, and systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stationary and moving/traversing.
• Occasionally seated, transporting/lifting, carrying, exerting force, reaching, handling, and positioning tasks.
• Constant communication and coordination.
