• In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/ physician assistant is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for neurological patients.
• The NP/PA must be self‑directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate standardized procedures (SPs).
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
• Document services rendered.

• California NP or PA license required
• DEA license
• Previous experience in neurology preferred
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
