The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) is a member of the nuclear medicine department’s operational staff. The technologist is responsible for performing nuclear medicine tests, such as PET scans, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurology patients. The perfect candidate must be able to successfully navigate the demands of neurology PET imaging. The technologist is licensed in all scopes of practice as defined by the State of California Radiologic Health branch and performs routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceutical materials.
The technologist must be able to work safely in an outpatient care setting and be able to interact accordingly with other patient care departments.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
