Required Qualifications:
Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
- Experience with electrical distribution systems and reading one-line drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Skilled in reviewing reports, test results, and technical documentation.
- Capable of recognizing electrical hazards and applying safe work practices to prevent injury or damage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective teamwork.
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with coworkers and supervisors.
- Competent in performing and supporting preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting motor starters and VFDs.
- Experience running conduit, pulling wire, and terminating small electrical repairs.
Job Description
Responsible for leading and performing the maintenance and operation of the Campus 601v to 25KV electrical distribution systems and thermal plant electrical system.
Job Duties
- Perform the active operation, maintenance, and repair of the medium voltage electrical distribution systems and components.
- Execute preventative maintenance program (PM) tasks for electrical distribution system and all the thermal plant electrical systems.
- Maintain all thermal plant electrical systems and electrical components.
- Operation of industrial HMI and digital relays for main electrical service entrance switch gear.
- Maintain current one-line electrical diagrams and data for feeder circuits, switches, transformers, capacitators, and plant distribution panels.
- Keep accurate and current maintenance, operation, switch gear settings, planned or unplanned outage documentation electronically.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
