The Department at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of part-time lecturers for Environment and Geography courses. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.
Applicant Pool InformationThis pool is used to fill short-term, temporary Lecturer positions across campus, with the possibility of rehire. Appointments may last from one day to a full semester. Applications are valid only for the current academic year and the pool closes on May 31st.
Minimum Qualifications- A master’s degree in a related field.
- Must be able to work in California, per CSU policy.
- A doctorate in a closely related field.
- Higher education teaching experience in Environment or Geography.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Salary is commensurate with degree level and experience, with an anticipated range of $5,507 - $8,000 per full-time month. The salary schedule includes:
- Lecturer A - AY: $5,507 - $6,677
- Lecturer B - AY: $6,221 - $13,224
