Project Engineer Intern

The Lusardi Construction Internship Program is designed to engage undergraduate and postgraduate college students in the practical application of general construction and technical skills. A Project Engineer (PE) Intern will learn to read blueprints, understand the trades and the boundaries of each trade, learn how things are built, and experience the bid process. During your PE Internship you will learn about RFI's, submittals, estimating (quantity takeoffs and pricing), change orders, and the relationships between the entire project team.

We offer internships in our San Marcos, CA and Dublin, CA office.

• Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs
• Prepare document distributions to subcontractors
• Assist with the maintenance and updating of project schedules
• Assist with determining weekly labor production quantities
• Assist with processing submittals
• Assist with processing RFI’s
• Maintain RFI logs
• Input data for labor cost reports and field quantity surveys
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree completed or in progress, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency or basic understanding of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc)
• Procore and Bluebeam experience preferred
