Your Role
As an Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving HR operations forward, using analytical skills to support decision-making that directly impacts employees and citywide efficiency. Depending on your experience and placement within the Analyst series, you may lead or support high-level projects, provide strategic analysis, and collaborate with departments across the City. This position offers the opportunity to expand both technical and leadership capabilities while building a strong foundation in Human Resources and Risk.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Conduct Data-Driven Decision Making:
Perform comprehensive data collection, analysis, and evaluation to inform operational and strategic decisions, including recruitment analytics, payroll processing workflow, and benefits management trends. - Implement Policies:
Administer and coordinate projects and functions, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Master the Budget:
Engage in division budget preparation and analysis, tracking expenditures and revenue for optimal financial performance. Lead the citywide personnel budget development process with data analytics tools. - Lead Project Management:
Coordinate and manage special projects, conducting research and analysis of new programs, services, policies, and procedures. - Serve as Communication Liaison:
Act as a bridge between departments, external agencies, and the public, supporting boards, committees, and commissions. - Mentor and Supervise:
Oversee and guide other analysts, ensuring high-quality analysis and data interpretation across the organization. - Advocate for Innovation:
Demonstrate a proactive approach in integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational effectiveness.

Salary- Administrative Management Analyst Annual Salary: $71,173 - $98,490
- Management Analyst Annual Salary: $79,970 - $110,664
- Senior Management Analyst Annual Salary: $91,558 - $126,699
The Management Analyst series includes Administrative Management Analyst, Management Analyst, and Senior Management Analyst. The series performs professional-level research, administrative, analytical, and data-driven duties in support of assigned functions, operations, departments, and/or divisions. Analysts work on diverse programs and projects requiring technical expertise relevant to the department they support. They serve as a conduit between operations and management, providing insight into operational efficiency and driving data-informed decision-making.
