A stable manufacturing company in San Marcos is hiring a Senior Accountant to support cost accounting, inventory oversight, and financial analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, operational environment and collaborating with production and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
+ Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis
+ Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations
+ Review journal entries and ensure accurate posting
+ Support standard cost updates and variance analysis
+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
+ Support internal and external audits
+ Ensure compliance with accounting standards
+ Recommend process improvements
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
+ 5-7 years of accounting experience, manufacturing preferred
+ Strong understanding of cost accounting
+ Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
