The steward will provide clean tableware for all dining areas and functions, clean and sanitize all pots and pans used by the kitchen staff, and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable work area for the kitchen and food service staffs. Additionally, the Steward will provide front-of-house service support as needed.

WhatYou'll Do
- Perform routine pre-service tasks as directed, including transporting china, glassware, and silver; ensure service plates are hot and ready to use.
- Attend to food service lines, maintain a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils, refill plate warmers as needed, and provide a constant supply of hot dishes and platters.
- Assist with stocking, restocking, and transporting clean and soiled china, glassware, and silverware in front-of-house areas (dining room, terrace, and Swing Time entertainment area).
- Sweep, clean, and de-grease kitchen floors daily.
- Follow specifications to presoak, clean, and store china, glassware, and silverware.
- Break down the dish-washing machine at end of shift; thoroughly wash baskets, tanks, sprayers, and all parts in preparation for the next shift.
- Wash, disinfect, and store pots, pans, and fryers according to procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of all sinks in the back of the kitchen; keep them free of pots and pans.
- Retrieve fry pans from line cooks, clean, and return promptly.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning in walk-ins and freezers; clean machines, sinks, shelves, and working tables; keep dumpster area clean; clean dish and food warmers; clean Chef's office; keep coffee machine area clean; clean and mop the employee dining lounge area.
- Empty, wash, and reline trash cans in the back of the kitchen as needed.
- Reline and replenish clean linens and towels as needed.
- Maintain front-of-house storage areas in an orderly manner.
- Assist with setting tables/bays and emptying trash containers in service areas as needed, before and during service.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times; follow safety standards and proper equipment handling rules.
- Attend all mandatory meetings as directed; perform other tasks including cross-training as directed.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
