Associate Veterinarian at Thrive Pet Healthcare

Mission Animal Hospital, part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community, is a small animal practice located in San Luis Obispo, CA. We provide full-service medical, dental, and surgical care, blending traditional and alternative therapies to optimize pet health. We serve San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, Nipomo, Atascadero, Morro Bay, and Los Osos. Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Compensation is negotiable with an annual PROSAL full‑time range starting at $/year.

• Deliver reliable clinical care to pets and their owners.
• Conduct preventative visits and wellness exams.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients when something feels off.
• Uphold high standards of medical excellence and collaborate within the team.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
• State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state in which the candidate will be hired.
• Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.
