Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse – California

Start Date: March 30, 2026

Location: San Luis Obispo, California

Schedule: Rotating shifts as assigned; includes cross-training and float to Pediatrics

Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level II or III NICU setting
• Responsibilities include care planning, medication administration, physiological monitoring, and family education

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent NICU nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to float to Pediatrics and adapt to varying patient populations
