Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – California

Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: San Luis Obispo, California

Schedule: Critical care unit setting

Highlights:

• Provide critical care nursing for patients with multi-system failure requiring advanced interventions
• Manage patients requiring ventilation support, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex respiratory care
• Care for neuro/trauma patients in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Supervise and delegate to ancillary staff within their scope of practice
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Union-represented position with CNA

Requirements:

• Active California RN license in good standing
• Critical care nursing experience with demonstrated competency in ICU/CCU settings
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Experience managing multi-system organ failure and trauma patients
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, delegation, and leadership skills
