Responsibilities

In this PCU RN role, core responsibilities include delivering expert, patient‑centered care to adults with intermediate acuity; continuously monitoring vitals, telemetry, and response to therapies; administering medications, IV therapies, and complex infusions with precision and safety; recognizing early signs of deterioration and initiating escalation protocols; collaborating with physicians, case managers, and therapists to optimize care plans; performing accurate assessments, documenting thoroughly, and communicating clearly with families to support informed decision‑making;

coordinating safe discharge planning and transitions to step‑down or home settings; and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance unit efficiency and patient outcomes.

You’ll also have opportunities for professional growth, such as pursuing specialty certifications, taking on charge nurse responsibilities, or contributing to education initiatives for new staff and traveling teammates.

Compensation & Employment Terms

We emphasize competitive benefits designed to support you from day one.
