Job Title: Manufacturing POU Technician

Job Description: Point of Use Purifier Technician. Entegris is seeking a Point of Use (POU) Purifier Technician to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to building point of use purifiers, including manufacturing various subassemblies to engineering specifications, testing finished products, product safety labeling and conducting quality visual inspections.

This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

• Perform various operations on the product in accordance with the work orders, process record instructions and photographic library with supervision.
• Build products to the released drawings, verify product visually, ensure product is consistent with established specifications with supervision.
• Responsible for the aesthetics symmetry of the product, using a variety of methods which may include etching, bead blasting, cleaning and labeling of purifier.
• Test purifiers by performing leak checks following SEMI S2 specifications.
• Ensure all products are packaged per packaging specifications.
• Finalize all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e., Production orders, POU logs, Labels, etc.).
• Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Prioritize work to maintain or increase on-time shipments in accordance with lead/manager direction.
• Use various hand tools to complete tasks assigned.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) as directed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.
• Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or relevant experience.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Astute attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to learn how to handle material responsibly.
• Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry.
• Dependability with flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.

• Compensation: $23-25 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
