Executive Director Facilities Maintenance, Operations and Engineering

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Vice President for Facilities Management and Development, the Executive Director of Facilities Maintenance, Operations and Engineering independently leads Facilities Maintenance and Operations and aligns with Facilities Planning and Capital Projects to ensure infrastructure standards are maintained, sustainability and decarbonization goals are achieved, and total life cycle costs are optimized. The Executive Director is responsible for achieving organizational goals and ensuring long-term effectiveness by leading and developing the operational management team, their staff members, and a $25 million budget.

This position serves as an exemplary leader to develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with FMD employees, campus constituents, and community stakeholders as well as select regulatory and city/county/state agencies.
