This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a team with deep expertise in this sector with flexibility to work remotely, hybrid or in-office in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA.
We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer who will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and monitoring our infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.

Responsibilities and Duties- Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
- Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools.
- Respond to phone calls, email, and technical requests in a timely manner.
- Participate in daily team meetings.
- Available to take a 24/7 on‑call rotation to handle emergency issues.
- Document, track, and communicate solutions to problems.
- Solid Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages (BASH)
- Proficient with deploying and maintaining applications Kubernetes
- Good analytical / troubleshooting skills
- Solid experience deploying and maintaining applications within AWS, including the use of awscli, EC2 and RDS instances, etc.
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Loki,
- Hands‑on experience with Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios, Solar Winds or other systems monitoring software.
- Proficient with network tools such as iptables, tcpdump, wireshark, etc.
- Ability to build and monitor services on production infrastructure
- Knowledge of Network Infrastructure including VPNs, Routers, Firewalls, load balancing and Switches.
- Knowledge of networking principles and applications / technologies (e.g., TCP /
- Experience with GIT, or other version control source code repositories.
