Manager Cath Lab

Overview

An amazing opportunity has just opened up for a Manager Cardiac Catheterization Lab at French Hospital Medical Center. This position will provide leadership, direction and clinical and operational supervision of patient care for the Cardiac Care Lab patient population at French Hospital, a 98 bed acute-care hospital located in San Luis Obispo. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will be a visible leader and role model for professional practice conducted in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and empower your front line leaders and staff, develop and manage budget, resources allocation, and strategy. You will assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance patient experience and patient outcomes.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab and provide leadership, direction and supervision of patient care.
• Serve as a visible leader and role model for professional practice in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Empower frontline leaders and staff, manage budgets, resource allocation and strategy.
• Assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance patient experience and outcomes.
• Lead quality and care management improvement initiatives and ensure Cath Lab standards are implemented and maintained.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required, or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience required.

Licensure

• CA State Registered Nurse (RN), or Registered Technologist (RT), or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required.

• Registered Technologist (RT) preferred.
