An internship at Earth Systems is perfect for civil engineering students passionate about geotechnical or environmental engineering and eager to gain practical, real‑world experience. Interns will work closely with professional engineers, receiving mentorship and guidance while participating in hands‑on projects. The role offers opportunities to spend time outdoors and learn the essential skills needed to succeed as a geotechnical engineer.

• Currently enrolled and plan to complete a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Provide support to project managers and engineering staff by performing various field and office functions.
• Conduct fieldwork for geotechnical site investigations.
• Learn and conduct field and laboratory soils and materials tests.
• Evaluate field and laboratory data.
• Perform calculations and analysis to assist in development of geotechnical design recommendations.
• Carry out other miscellaneous field and laboratory geotechnical-related tasks.

The expected pay range for this position is $20–28. Exact rate is dependent on several factors such as experience, skills, education/certifications, and geographic location.

Employment conditioned upon the satisfactory completion of a post‑offer background check, review of Motor Vehicle Records, drug screening, and a medical evaluation appropriate to the position.
