Our growing company is searching for a mid-to-senior career candidate for the position of Water Resource Engineer/Hydrogeologist/Specialist. Successful candidates will leverage their technical, managerial and social skills to become a critical member of our team and support our clients in planning, design and implementation of water and wastewater resource projects and initiatives.

- Serve as project manager and technical lead on water resource and/or hydrogeologic planning, infrastructure or management projects.
- Support integrated water resource planning, water quality, conveyance, wastewater treatment, hydrogeologic and/or recycled water projects and initiatives.
- Interface with team members, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies’ representatives to manage project progress and deliver complete, high quality project deliverables.
- Engage and collaborate with project teams to support understanding and delivery of client needs and expectations.
- Evaluate and synthesize complex topics for non-technical audiences and prepare simple, accessible presentations, talking points and other communication materials.
- Prepare reports, technical memorandums, feasibility studies, and other written deliverables to support project execution.
- Support development of scope, schedule and budget for projects ranging from feasibility studies to full-scale program implementation.
- Support developing groundwater management and operational strategies to achieve sustainable groundwater supplies in SGMA and Adjudicated basins.
- Research and prepare applications for grant and low-interest financing programs to support project implementation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology or Science Related Field
- Work experience in water, wastewater, groundwater management or other related field
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Motivated individual with a desire to expand their network and advance their career
- Knowledge/experience/demonstrated technical competence in water resources planning, hydrogeology, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, infrastructure design, water/wastewater operations, construction management or other related capabilities
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Positive, collaborative approach to life
