The Industrial Technology, Packaging, and Entrepreneurship Area in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly is creating a pool of eligible part-time Entrepreneurship lecturers for possible teaching assignments during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and/or Spring Quarters of the  academic year. Teaching areas include: entrepreneurship fundamentals, lean startup; design thinking; customer development; funding and managing high-growth startups; business basics for entrepreneurs;

and technology entrepreneurship. Assignments depend on budget and enrollments.

• Masters degree in business or related discipline.
• Relevant industry or teaching experience demonstrating competency to teach entrepreneurship courses emphasizing experiential learning.

Initial rank and salary depend on experience and educational background. Most new lecturers are hired at Lecturer A or

B. As of July 2024, salary ranges are:

• Lecturer A: $5,507-$6,677
• Lecturer B: $6,221-$13,224
• Lecturer C: $6,825-$14,523
• Lecturer D: $8,593-$15,211
