overview
part-time university supervisor pool - school of education (ay 25/26) at cal poly, san luis obispo. Positions available as determined by need during fall, winter, and/or spring quarters for the 2025-26 academic year. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience and time base. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term, so applicants must be available on very short notice.
positionthe school of education in the bailey college of science and mathematics at cal poly is seeking applications for a pool of part-time university supervisors. This is a temporary, on-site (in-person) role.
responsibilitiesrequired qualifications
- applicants must be credentialed or have equivalent experience in educator preparation as well as be expert in the content area of the teacher candidate being supervised.
- for the educational leadership and administration program, clinical practice supervisor applicant's minimum requirements are a ma in educational leadership or closely related field, possession of or eligibility for the ca administrative services credential, and five (5) years of experience as a k-12 school administrator.
preferred qualifications
- master's degree or higher in education or a related discipline.
- for the educational leadership and administration program, a doctoral degree is preferred.
the person holding this position is considered a "mandated reporter" under the california child abuse and neglect reporting act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in csu executive order 1083 as a condition of employment.
following a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with cal poly, san luis obispo.
