Berger Moving & Storage, Inc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in San Leandro, California! The Operations Supervisor manages a fleet of approximately 20 owner operators and crew ensuring on-time service and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities for our Operations Supervisor include but are not limited to:

• Set schedules to maximize capacity and customer satisfaction;
• Hire and train local crew and contractors;
• Review local contractor profitability;
• Monitor equipment condition and maintenance;
• Maintain “Excellent” customer service quality rating;
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred);
• Moving industry experience (preferred);
• Household goods dispatching experience (preferred);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Able to multitask in a fast paced, stressful environment;
• Fluid problem solving skills;
• Geographical knowledge;
• Self-motivated by daily challenges;
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
