Senior Java Engineer

We are actively seeking a Senior Java Engineer to be a key member of our team.

This hands‑on role focuses on the analysis, design, and development of complex business functionalities. We are looking for seasoned Java/J2EE developers who are passionate about developing high‑quality code and possess a strong understanding of core concepts in Java/J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with the Java/J2EE ecosystem, demonstrate proficiency in system design principles, and excel in designing and developing highly available, mission‑critical applications.

• Lead a team of engineers dedicated to building, enhancing, and supporting Fraud and Authentication capabilities.
• Design, develop, unit test, and document application functionalities while adhering to Agile development practices.
• Engage in the complete Agile SDLC and collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and deployment teams.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in system design principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Java Microservices, Spring or Spring Boot, Mongo
  
  DB, and JUnit.
• Demonstrated expertise in unit testing and mocking strategies.
• Significant experience with SOA architecture (XML and JSON technologies).
• A strong sense of urgency and an ability to take end‑to‑end ownership of tasks.
• A proactive self‑starter who can work independently with guidance from a Principal Engineer or Engineering Manager.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Prior experience in the banking or financial domain.
• Experience with PCF.
• Familiarity with Kafka.

The starting pay range for this role is $71/hour, with actual compensation dependent on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance and may offer a range of company benefits.
