Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to help with the repairs and maintenance of our tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling shop in San Leandro
.

Shift: Full-Time / Monday-Friday / 1:30pm – 10:00pm

Pay: $46.50/hr

• The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems.
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online Asset Works system.
• Operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls.
• Ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy".
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or Xata Net) and/or cameras (Drive Cam).
• Work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.
