A technician that can perform common light duty services or repairs in an efficient manner

High School

Less than 1 year

0-2 Years no experience or some experience, entry level position, able to work under supervision and take orders from shop foreman lead techs and service managers, have good written and verbal communication, be able to work under pressure, training must be started and completed basic within 90 days of hire to lead into apprentice tech.

An "entry level" technician:
Capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire, and batteryreplacement etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex criticalmechanical aptitude with guidance as needed upon researching work instructions, or after being taught theproper techniques first.
