BACK ROOM PROCESSOR / MATERIAL HANDLER for our Alameda Thrift Store

HOURLY RATE: $17.45 - FULL TIME WITH BENEFITS

The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. • High School graduate or equivalent.
• Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.

Education

• GED (required)
• High School or Equivalent (required)

Experience

• 2 years:
  Ability to call our and designate merchandise and product to designated areas; (preferred)
• 2 years:
  Ability to recognize product and sort accordingly; (required)
• 2 years:
  Working in warehouse environment preferred (required)
