• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett.
• Consult on action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility for the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Maintain awareness of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure departmental responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Inform Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain quality customer service.
• Perform general administrative duties and be trained in the Store Manager's responsibilities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Uphold Hibbett policies, procedures, and standards from the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals.
• Protect company assets and financial information and report potential fraud risk.

• Supervise employees during the absence of the Store Manager, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning, directing work, and problem resolution.

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and achieving overall goals and profits.
• Self‑starter with initiative to handle important tasks without prompting.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Team‑player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.
