Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a critical need Emergency Room position in California requiring an active CA RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in an Emergency Room setting within a hospital environment
- Patient population consists of adults and children requiring emergency care
- 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- CEN and TNCC certifications preferred
- Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Contingent workers may not exceed two years of service without a 90-day break
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ER nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
- All licenses and certifications must be active; pending credentials are not accepted
- Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
