Schedule: Swing Shift (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM) | 40–50 hours per week

We are seeking two growth‑minded Swing Shift Production Supervisors to drive operational excellence in our San Leandro plant. This is a central leadership role designed for a "boots‑on‑the‑ground" professional who excels at coaching diverse teams, hitting aggressive KPIs, and maintaining world‑class food safety standards.
In this 24‑hour operation, you will be the primary driver of shift performance, ensuring that production, safety, and quality targets are not just met, but exceeded. Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead shift‑start meetings, conduct floor walk‑throughs, and provide real‑time coaching to hourly associates to ensure peak performance and professional development.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily production activities, monitor line efficiency, and partner with Maintenance and QA to rapidly resolve equipment or process bottlenecks.
- Quality & Safety First: Champion a culture of safety by leading incident investigations and ensuring 100% compliance with GMP, HACCP, and strict sanitation protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the execution of plant‑wide improvement projects (WIGs) and use Lean methodologies to eliminate variances in production metrics.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage shift handoffs, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain SOX compliance documentation to provide a seamless transition between production cycles.
- Experience: 4+ years of supervisory experience specifically within a food manufacturing environment
. - Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Lean Expertise: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Labor Relations: Proven ability to effectively lead and direct a diverse,
unionized workforce
. - Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with GMP, HACCP
, and industrial safety programs. - Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team briefings.
- Environment: Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24‑hour facility with varying temperatures (including cold storage areas) and strict hygiene requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Dairy processing.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong history of mentoring and developing hourly workers.
