We look for highly skilled individuals who can troubleshoot and perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment and have a thorough understanding of safe work practices. This role creates value by performing preventative and corrective maintenance leading to increased uptime and reliability, helping the facility meet production and quality goals.

Schedule:

2-2-3 shift;
Shifts 5am – 5pm or 5pm – 5am.

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program.
• Install and repair mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and couplings.
• Perform all maintenance checks and preventive maintenance in a safe and timely manner.
• Upload/download and research online the necessary software, maintenance and operation manual for equipment pertaining to the business.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy, and high-volume environment.
• Support a safe working environment by maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate PPE.
• Willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Minimum 1 year mechanical industrial manufacturing experience.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and identifying predictive maintenance of equipment.

• Mechanical certification, technical schooling earned or other related educational certifications/degrees.
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry.
• Mechanical:
  Fasteners, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Hoisting/Rigging, Alignment/Couplings, Lubrication, Bearings/Seals, Mechanical Drive Systems, Blueprints/Drawings, Precision Measuring Tools, Welding/Fabrication, Pipe fitting, Pumps, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors.

We anticipate paying $28.96 - $31.36 per hour BOQ.
